Biography
| Sean is entering his final year at UCLA in the Department of World Arts and Cultures and Anthropology. This fall he will be working on his Graduate application to UCSD M.F.A Program in Visual Art. He is a 20 year native of San Diego, CA currently living in Los Angeles. His artistic endeavors have included work in marching band and colorguard, theater dance performance, men's choir, visual art work in mixed media and photographic work, interdisciplinary and intercultural performance choreographic work, and production management of public performances. Much of the photographic work you see is from basic point and shoot digital and general film photography with simplistic editing techniques. My aesthetic (my quirks) are in taking photos that have multiple layers of noise. I use the word "noise" because it best describes the photos I take. Other artists who have seen my work describe it as complicated, chaotic, and brillantly colored. My work is not meant to be over the top, but rather to capture an environment that can be enriched with color and marginalization of independent and supportive atmospheric layers. |
